Wire transfers Contributions may be wired directly to the Smedley Fund through your bank. Click here for instructions on making such a wire transfer.
IRA Gifts U.S. contributors may make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from their Individual Retirement Arrangement (IRA) accounts – up to a $100,000 pre-tax donation annually – on reaching age 70½. Please consult your financial advisor to see if this is a good option for you.
As our way of thanking our members for their generous donations, individual contributors who reach a $1000 cumulative lifetime donation total (accruing from January 2016) will receive a lapel pin reflecting their donation level.
Please note: While any names associated with anonymous contributions will not be published in official Toastmasters materials, the organization is required by law to report any cumulative donations of $5,000.00 or more to the United States Internal Revenue Service.
Toastmasters International will send a notice of your contribution and/or comment without disclosing the amount.
Toastmasters International holds a 501(c)(3) U.S. Federal tax exemption (EIN 95-1300076); therefore, any contribution made by a U.S. taxpayer may be deductible as a charitable contribution. If you live outside the U.S., please consult your tax advisor to learn if your contribution is tax-deductible.
